Andrés brings 20 years of investment and C-level management experience in growing businesses across multiple geographies. He has advised, invested in, and managed companies through periods of rapid growth, strengthening their management teams and aligning interests via best practice corporate governance. Andrés has a particular interest for companies in the business services and the industrial sectors, their strategies and the people who execute them.
Prior to Transition Capital Partners, Andrés was a Consultant at Egon Zehnder in London in their Private Capital team, supporting investment platforms (funds, family offices) and their portfolio companies. Previously, Andrés was the CFO of Helios Towers Africa, a leading pan-African wireless infrastructure company. Before that, Andres was a Vice President at Helios Investment Partners, an Associate at JPMorgan and an analyst at Óptima, a Madrid-based independent investment bank where he started his career.
Andrés graduated with a MSc Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in Italy.
Andrés is based in Turin where he lives with his wife and four children. When not in the office, Andrés is likely to be skiing (in the winter) or sailing (in the summer) or simply enjoying good company around a delicious bottle of wine.
Edouard has 20 years’ experience of investing and working closely with management teams and companies at all stages of development supporting their growth and expansion. He is particularly focused on businesses in the consumer and industrial sectors and is passionate about the underlying technologies that allow them to build lasting competitive advantages and their importance in supporting our sustainable futures.
Prior to Transition Capital, Edouard was a Director at the Virgin Group, where he headed investments in the telecom and media space, as well as the group’s impact investment strategy. He was previously at KKR & Co as a Principal responsible for Technology and Industrials investments across Europe. Edouard started his career at Credit Suisse First Boston in the Technology and M&A teams.
Edouard graduated with a MBEng, magna cum laude, from Solvay Business School in Brussels, Belgium, and an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
Edouard is based in London where he lives with his wife and two daughters. Outside of work, you will find him running, ski touring, or heading out to the theatre or a music concert.
Philippe brings 28 years of management and operational experience, including 14 years as CEO of two international food businesses. He has overseen the growth, internationalisation and professionalisation of companies, and built a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges these entail. Philippe focuses on companies in the consumer, agro-food and manufacturing sectors. He loves understanding how they build differentiated consumer experiences and leading-edge operations.
Before joining Transition Capital, Philippe was the CEO of Gourmand Pastries, a global producer of laminated dough products, where he oversaw a major transformation of the business including through a strategic realignment, production capacity expansion, optimisation of processes and procedures and global expansion. Before that, he was the founder and CEO of It’za – Mexma Food, an industrial producer of Mexican flat bread. Philippe’s early career was with leading FMCG groups notably PepsiCo, Spadel and Unliever.
Philippe graduated with an MSc in Economics from KU Leuven in Belgium. He also holds an Master Degree in Marketing from VLEKHO in Brussels, Belgium.
Philippe is based in Belgium where he lives with his wife and three boys. He is an avid cyclist and runner; he loves to travel and discover new regions and cultures.
Laurent possède plus de six ans d’expérience en banque d’investissement, spécialisé dans l’accompagnement des PME belges, avec un accent particulier sur les entreprises familiales et celles fondées par leurs dirigeants. Il a travaillé en étroite collaboration avec des entrepreneurs à des moments clés du développement de leur entreprise, combinant une solide expertise transactionnelle à une approche pragmatique et axée sur le partenariat pour les accompagner dans leur croissance et leurs transitions stratégiques.
Avant de rejoindre Transition Capital Partners, Laurent était vice-président chez Degroof Petercam à Bruxelles, où il a conseillé des entrepreneurs, des entreprises familiales, des grandes entreprises, des start-ups et des investisseurs en capital-investissement sur plus de 30 transactions, couvrant des levées de fonds, des fusions et acquisitions, des opérations sur les marchés financiers et des missions de conseil financier plus générales.
Laurent est titulaire d’un Master CEMS en management international de l’UCLouvain et de l’Université de Saint-Gall, ainsi que d’un Master en ingénierie de gestion de l’UCLouvain.
Laurent est basé à Bruxelles, où il vit avec son épouse. En dehors du travail, on peut souvent le trouver sur un terrain de hockey sur gazon, en train de skier en hiver, de regarder du football ou de passer du temps avec ses amis et sa famille.
Niccolò possède une vaste expérience en conseil stratégique, investissement et entrepreneuriat, avec une expertise particulière dans les secteurs industriel et des biens de consommation. Il a conseillé des fonds de capital-investissement et des entreprises sur plus de 30 audits de due diligence commerciaux et opérationnels et a collaboré étroitement avec des équipes de direction sur des intégrations post-fusion, l’accélération de la croissance et l’excellence opérationnelle. Il a à cœur d’aider les entreprises à se développer durablement et à bâtir un avantage concurrentiel durable, en combinant capital, leviers stratégiques et opérationnels avec une rigueur analytique, une fine compréhension des enjeux commerciaux et un esprit entrepreneurial pragmatique.
Avant de rejoindre Transition Capital Partners, Niccolò était associé chez Bain & Company à Bruxelles, Zurich et Milan, où il se concentrait sur des projets de capital-investissement et de stratégie d’entreprise à travers l’Europe. Parallèlement à sa carrière de consultant, il a fondé deux start-ups, acquérant ainsi une expérience concrète de la création et du développement d’entreprises.
Niccolò est titulaire d’un doctorat en ingénierie de la KU Leuven (Louvain, Belgique) et d’un MBA de la Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management (Bruxelles, Belgique).
Niccolò est basé à Milan. Dans ses loisirs, il pratique le ski, la voile, la randonnée et s’adonne à sa passion pour les sports automobiles.
