Andrés brings 20 years of investment and C-level management experience in growing businesses across multiple geographies. He has advised, invested in, and managed companies through periods of rapid growth, strengthening their management teams and aligning interests via best practice corporate governance. Andrés has a particular interest for companies in the business services and the industrial sectors, their strategies and the people who execute them.
Prior to Transition Capital Partners, Andrés was a Consultant at Egon Zehnder in London in their Private Capital team, supporting investment platforms (funds, family offices) and their portfolio companies. Previously, Andrés was the CFO of Helios Towers Africa, a leading pan-African wireless infrastructure company. Before that, Andres was a Vice President at Helios Investment Partners, an Associate at JPMorgan and an analyst at Óptima, a Madrid-based independent investment bank where he started his career.
Andrés graduated with a MSc Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in Italy.
Andrés is based in Turin where he lives with his wife and four children. When not in the office, Andrés is likely to be skiing (in the winter) or sailing (in the summer) or simply enjoying good company around a delicious bottle of wine.
Edouard has 20 years’ experience of investing and working closely with management teams and companies at all stages of development supporting their growth and expansion. He is particularly focused on businesses in the consumer and industrial sectors and is passionate about the underlying technologies that allow them to build lasting competitive advantages and their importance in supporting our sustainable futures.
Prior to Transition Capital, Edouard was a Director at the Virgin Group, where he headed investments in the telecom and media space, as well as the group’s impact investment strategy. He was previously at KKR & Co as a Principal responsible for Technology and Industrials investments across Europe. Edouard started his career at Credit Suisse First Boston in the Technology and M&A teams.
Edouard graduated with a MBEng, magna cum laude, from Solvay Business School in Brussels, Belgium, and an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
Edouard is based in London where he lives with his wife and two daughters. Outside of work, you will find him running, ski touring, or heading out to the theatre or a music concert.
Philippe brings 28 years of management and operational experience, including 14 years as CEO of two international food businesses. He has overseen the growth, internationalisation and professionalisation of companies, and built a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges these entail. Philippe focuses on companies in the consumer, agro-food and manufacturing sectors. He loves understanding how they build differentiated consumer experiences and leading-edge operations.
Before joining Transition Capital, Philippe was the CEO of Gourmand Pastries, a global producer of laminated dough products, where he oversaw a major transformation of the business including through a strategic realignment, production capacity expansion, optimisation of processes and procedures and global expansion. Before that, he was the founder and CEO of It’za – Mexma Food, an industrial producer of Mexican flat bread. Philippe’s early career was with leading FMCG groups notably PepsiCo, Spadel and Unliever.
Philippe graduated with an MSc in Economics from KU Leuven in Belgium. He also holds an Master Degree in Marketing from VLEKHO in Brussels, Belgium.
Philippe is based in Belgium where he lives with his wife and three boys. He is an avid cyclist and runner; he loves to travel and discover new regions and cultures.
Laurent heeft meer dan zes jaar ervaring in investment banking, met een focus op het ondersteunen van Belgische mkb’s, in het bijzonder familiebedrijven en bedrijven die door oprichters worden geleid. Hij heeft nauw samengewerkt met ondernemers op cruciale momenten in de ontwikkeling van hun bedrijf, waarbij hij sterke transactionele expertise combineert met een pragmatische, op partnerschap gebaseerde aanpak om hen te helpen bij groei en strategische transities.
Voordat hij bij Transition Capital Partners kwam, was Laurent Vice President bij Degroof Petercam in Brussel, waar hij ondernemers, familiebedrijven, corporates, scale-ups en private equity-investeerders adviseerde bij meer dan 30 transacties op het gebied van fondsenwerving, fusies en overnames, kapitaalmarktactiviteiten en bredere financiële adviesopdrachten.
Laurent heeft een CEMS Master in International Management van UCLouvain en de Universität St. Gallen, evenals een Master in Business Engineering van UCLouvain.
Laurent woont in Brussel met zijn vrouw. Buiten werktijd is hij vaak te vinden op het hockeyveld, op de skipistes in de winter, kijkt hij naar voetbalwedstrijden of brengt hij tijd door met vrienden en familie.
Niccolò heeft uitgebreide ervaring in strategieconsultancy, investeringen en ondernemerschap, met een specifieke focus op industriële bedrijven en consumentenbedrijven. Hij heeft private equity-fondsen en bedrijven geadviseerd bij meer dan 30 commerciële en operationele due diligence-onderzoeken en heeft nauw samengewerkt met managementteams aan post-fusie-integraties, groeiversnelling en operationele excellentie. Hij is gedreven om bedrijven te helpen duurzaam te groeien en een blijvend concurrentievoordeel op te bouwen, door kapitaal, strategische en operationele hefbomen te combineren met analytische nauwkeurigheid, diepgaande bedrijfskennis en een praktische, ondernemende mentaliteit.
Voordat hij bij Transition Capital Partners kwam, was Niccolò Associate Partner bij Bain & Company in Brussel, Zürich en Milaan, waar hij zich richtte op private equity- en bedrijfsstrategieprojecten in heel Europa. Naast zijn consultancycarrière richtte hij twee startups op, waardoor hij uit eerste hand ervaring opdeed met het opbouwen en laten groeien van bedrijven.
Niccolò heeft een doctoraat in de ingenieurswetenschappen behaald aan de KU Leuven in Leuven, België, en een MBA aan de Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management in Brussel, België.
Niccolò is gevestigd in Milaan. In zijn vrije tijd is Niccolò te vinden op de skipistes, op het water tijdens het zeilen, in de bergen tijdens het wandelen of genietend van zijn passie voor de autosport.
